Manager of Professional Development; Board Meeting Coordinator
Deb Yukolis demonstrates that hard work and dedication to continuous professional development is the right formula for a successful career. A retired professional with over 30 years of work experience for the City of Mesa, Deb joined Board Developer as Manager for Professional Development. One of her favorite quotes is, “I want to look back on my career and be proud of the work, and be proud that I tried everything” (Jon Stewart). She believes it is a reminder about the importance of professional development.
As Manager of Board Developer’s Professional Development Program, Deb will promote program benefits, monitor and coordinate participation, organize and communicate networking and educational opportunities, and provide assistance and timely follow-up to all program participants.
Deb has a Master’s Degree in Organizational Development and is certified in facilitation and Lean/Six Sigma. She is also professionally trained in strategic and operational planning, change management, performance management, team development, and mediation.
Deb was born and raised in Michigan, where many of her loved ones still reside. Arizona has been her home base since 1982. She has two beautiful grown children and one amazing grandchild, Oliver. In her spare time, Deb revels in being a grandma and a dedicated volunteer of Oakwood Creative Care, a day club for adults with cognitive and physical challenges.
