Michael Lowe is the retired Deputy General Manager and Chief Customer Executive for SRP, after almost 40 years of dedicated service. With a staff of 2,000 and an annual budget of $650 million, he oversaw various departments including advanced metering infrastructure sales, call centers, billing, collections, power distribution, grid modernization, and water delivery. Mr. Lowe’s expertise in technology and customer service led him to re-engineer SRP’s customer service delivery, both physically and digitally, creating a rewarding and pleasant experience for customers. He implemented effective governance and tailored service offerings to meet the unique needs of different customer segments.
Mr. Lowe also played a pivotal role in introducing prepaid metering, time-of-use pricing programs, utility-owned payment kiosks, and an energy efficiency program at SRP. His leadership contributed to SRP receiving numerous JD Power Awards for customer satisfaction and certification for their call centers. Mr. Lowe’s educational background includes a B.A. in Economics from California State University, Stanislaus, and an M.B.A. from Arizona State University. He resides in Tempe, Arizona, with his wife and two grown sons.
